This incident dates a few years back… when we took Ishani for her admission interview in one of the Schools in Navi Mumbai.
So we were inside the cabin .. the principal, the pre primary coordinator, and one other lady, and US… Ishani, and her parents.
After the initial introduction, Ishani was asked a few humble simple questions…
Ishani kept quiet.
Thay asked Ishani her favourite colour…
Ishani kept quiet ..
They asked her name…
Ishani looked away…
They asked her what she liked to do…
Ishani winked…
They asked her if she liked to play…
Ishani became very very serious…
So .. they smiled and gave up… and the kind lady Principal handed Ishani a candy wrapped in Pink paper…. Which… while taking slipped out of Ishani’s hands……
And then… Ishani spoke….:
